Frankovka
The nose of this Frankovka presents with scents of dark berries, think black cherries and blackberry, and a faint hint of cinnamon spice. In the mouth this wine shines bright with fresh and fruity notes featuring more cherry flavors and dark boysenberry. The finish is fresh and longer than expected. You’ll catch notes of black or green peppercorns as well as a lingering cinnamon spice note, both typical of the blaufrankisch grape. The higher acidity means little tannin for a more fruit forward and fresh styled wine. Having never seen oak and only aged in stainless steel this wine is fresh and designed to be consumed.
Matic shows that Blaufränkisch is not only reserved for Austrians. This red wine has matured in stainless steel tanks under a fine layer of pile. Accurate, focused and bright... that's Electric Kool-Aid!
